By day, Floyd works for the California Department of Public Health. By night—and on weekends, over lunch or dinner with friends, or in any quiet moment he can steal—he loses himself in stories, whether reading them or writing his own.

Floyd has always believed that a good book should sweep you away, even if only for a few hours. His goal is to create stories that do just that—rich with wit, memorable characters, and just a touch of the unexpected.

He writes to entertain, to offer escape, and to create connection.

 

When he's not working or writing, you'll likely find him curled up with a good book, telling himself, just one more chapter.
